April 11th my wife(Jessica), Julie Pappas, and I had the opportunity to represent Surfrider at an EcoFest held at McGough Park. Attendance was fantastic, they had an easter egg hunt so tons of kids and parents came out for a beautiful morning in the park. I was interviewed by Andrea Lypka for 88.5FM WMNF's news program. 88.5FM is like no other radio station you will hear. It is a listener sponsored community station. This means there are NO commercials, and best of all the music programming it based on listener feedback, not record companies. There is a Grateful Dead hour, reggae, gospel, bluegrass, polka, you name it. You can hear Democracy Now, NPR, and other very informative news programs that aren't biased, because there are no corporate sponsors.
